Foxy Woman!

Melody Knight, of Campfire OK, played a show last year at the Fox Den.  She is one of the most creative, versatile, inspiring people I know.  During my first year in Redding she really taught me alot of about dreaming. My friend Mitch Neal opened from her! Samples:

Sidewalks and Sun

Last year I worked with children in some rougher areas of our city.  We would take the children out and do all sorts of games, lessons, art, and the list goes on. This week we were teaching them about loving their neighborhood.  They made crafts for people they knew in their apartments so they could go knock on doors and brighten their day, share love, and tell those they thought of that they cared!  I really love photographing action.  Just people doing life and capturing the simple, yet beautiful things.  Also, I love just blessing people with something beautiful! These kids have never had family photos or really creative beautiful ones of themselves! For me it was a way to show them how I saw them and that I cared! Here are some samples from the day!

Trinity

Beautiful little girl, I pretty much fell in love with.  We just had fun one day at the lake ... She pretty much stole my heart.

The Garage Formally known as the Fox Den

I know there was a little break in posts.  Life got busy with Justice House and it was raining LOTS! But now the sun is out shining again and I have been inspired to delve into editing and shooting!
I have also recently been taking some photography lessons from Willy Branlund, the man himself.  I am stoked to grow, train my eye, and my heart ever more.  I have a bunch of shoots lined up as well as a trip to Costa! As for now, this is some from before it got cold.

This set is from a friend's garage, where they used to host all sorts of musical talent! I wish you could hear the splendid sounds of Kiley Hill, Micah Belew, and Hunter Thompson.  For now here were a few of the sights.
